Current product posture
MyRoboBrick is designed for kids and teens learning robotics with parental involvement. The app does not use accounts, advertising, behavioral profiling, or a MyRoboBrick backend that stores learner data.
- No accounts, no advertising, and no third-party analytics.
- Builds, skills, photos, code, and chat history are stored locally on the iPhone.
- Optional AI Chat sends typed prompts to Anthropic only when the learner uses that feature.
- Robot voice control uses Apple Speech and Google AI only during an active voice session.
- Parents can stop local collection by deleting app data or uninstalling the app.
AI services
The app uses third-party AI services for optional AI features: Anthropic for Skills AI Chat, Google AI for robot voice control, and Apple Speech for voice transcription. The final policy will name each service, explain what is sent, and describe retention and parent rights in plain language.
